Nadia qualified from the University of Baghdad in 1989 receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery. After qualifying, Nadia undertook multidisciplinary hospital posts in Paediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. She then undertook a two-year post as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Southampton and Salisbury. In 1999, she was awarded the Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons in England.
Nadia embarked on post-graduate orthodontic training at the University of Newcastle, gaining a Master’s degree in Science (Merit) and Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004.
After becoming a specialist orthodontist, Nadia worked in specialist orthodontic practice in Horsham and the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead. She has been an Associate Specialist in Orthodontics at the Queen Victoria Hospital since 2007, where she is actively involved in the teaching and training of postgraduate orthodontic registrars and orthodontic therapists. She has joined the team at Fairlands Dental and Implant Centre in 2021. Nadia has broad experience in the field of orthodontics. Her special interest is treatment of multidisciplinary cases, particularly cases requiring corrective jaw surgery. Nadia is a member of the British Orthodontic Society.
